How We Met!
Michael and I met in December 2008 through our friend Mindy Powell. Mindy and Michael were best friends all through high school and have still kept in touch over the years (Thank goodness!) Mindy and I met in nursing school a year and a half ago and instantly became best friends. This past November Mindy called Michael to wish him a happy birthday and after she got off the phone with him she told me all about him and how great and perfect he is. I was slightly offended at first when she didn't immediately realize he and I would be a good match but I figured she had her reasons though I never stopped wondering about this AMAZING Michael. About two weeks later it FINALLY dawned on Mindy that she should set up Michael and me! She turned to me and said, "Oh my gosh, Jaime! I have the perfect boy for you!" and before she could tell me his name I said "Is it Michael!?!?" I told her I HAD to meet this boy as soon as possible so she text him later that day and said, "Michael I have your wife picked out for you so let me know when you're ready to meet her!" Michael text back, "Mindy, I was BORN ready!" Long story short, we met the following weekend, fell madly in love and got engaged ten weeks later On Valentine's Day!
